Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the OffShelf mobile application (the "Service") operated by Basheer Rjoub ("us", "we", or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.
OffShelf is a personal learning companion that helps you:
You sign in with a Google account. You must provide information that is accurate and current, and you are responsible for the security of the Google account you use to access the Service.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use OffShelf.
You agree not to use the Service:
Your topics, notes, sessions, and profile details are "Your Content." You retain all rights to Your Content. By using the Service, you grant us the limited right to store and display Your Content strictly to operate the Service for you (for example, syncing your notes between your devices and showing your opted-in profile on the leaderboard).
We do not use Your Content to train third-party AI models. Weekly AI insights are generated from your sessions and are shown only to you.
OffShelf uses AI to suggest study sessions, generate summaries, and produce weekly insights. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or opinions. It is provided for informational and motivational purposes only and is not professional advice. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on.
OffShelf is free to download and use. We also offer an optional auto-renewing subscription, OffShelf Premium, that unlocks additional features.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID (App Store) or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews for the same period and at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to Premium features until then.
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refunds are subject to their respective policies (Apple Media Services Terms; Google Play refund policy) and to any non-waivable rights you may have under your local consumer protection laws. We do not directly issue refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (excluding Your Content) are and will remain the exclusive property of Basheer Rjoub. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Basheer Rjoub be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account, or by following the web deletion flow.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any material changes taking effect.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
